Turtle Season

 

The sea turtle has been an important teacher to me. The turtle represents for me – “go slow get there faster”.

​

This painting shows the female turtle returning to the ocean after laying her nest. She shows us that we can come ashore to bury our eggs and leave in faith that everything will work out. Sea turtles do not raise their hatchlings. Each turtle is born knowing who they are exactly. This is the essence of Turtle Season. It is the season to come ashore out of our comfort zone and bring forth our gifts in faith.

 

Turtle Season for me is about laying your eggs in faith that everything will work out.
